How I spent my summer vacation...

A Week at Kates 06’
July 23rd -31st

Sunday:
Free with a price…
Stomach’s memo to brain:
“Just because Mcdonald’s gives you an extra McBagel don’t mean you have to eat it.”

Lighting…
Sat on the deck eating ice cream and taking pictures of the 2-hour wide format multimedia extravaganza. Two thumbs up.

Monday:
Watch your toes…
I have a new beach hobby, stacking rocks. Some people read a book, others just lie on there towel but my dad and I, we pile rocks.

Tuesday:
The joy of extended family...
When they are all in the boat I can jump higher on my wakeboard.

Duck Itch:
Everyone swims but only I seem to get bit. Borrowing parasites why to you torment me?

Wednesday:
Brain oil:
Reading, planning, dreaming, it is nice to break to rust off the cogs.

Thursday:
Pie Lady:
$17.50 well spent.

Cute girl:
Hung out with a cute girl today. She made faces and tried to steel watermelon while I painted a flower on her arm. At 5 years of age she is a little young regardless we had fun.

Friday:
Nothing much:
No pie, cute girls, tennis or wakeboard, just an average beautiful day at the lake. Spent time working on electronica, scrap wood clean up and Mere Christianity.

Saturday:
Jordan arrived:
After a day of baby delivery and chasing overdosed addicts in electric wheel chairs Jordan came to join us… a welcome and amusing addition to our morning breakfast.

Lake surfing:
Nothing like catching 3 foot rollers in the middle of a lake.

Sunday:
Mini golf:
The only thing that wasn’t mini about it was my score!

Lake cold:
The lake turned over; had to pull out the wetsuits for the annual tubefest. Required long hot shower to return circulation.

Monday:
Too much sun:
So, I turned on the BBQ and failed to notice the plastic BBQ brush.
